Written and sung by Randal Cox
to the tune of "The Beer Barrel Polka"
by Lew Brown
Theres a dead guy, such a dead guy. Just a ghostly spirit haunts here!
He just never wanted room here, for a dragon to be back here!
Now, theres polka and theres drinking, and a lot of reminiscing.
When they play the polka, the dead stop their haunting.
Every time they hear that oom-pa-pa, All the ghosts say ta-ta-ta.
They want to leave this plane today, They all need a hip-hip-hooray!
Then they hear the squirrel in the sky, the sky, Its a big surprise when going by!
When all the dead guys pass from view, For miles around well sing anew
Gone, lost forever, Tal has gone far far from here
Death took my brudder! For you I shall wail and shed tears!
Zing, boom, so clever! Ring out a song of his fame,
Nows the time to sing old Tal to his Af-ter-place!
