My Favorite Game

Written by Mike Watts
to the tune of "A few of My Favorite Things"
by Oscar Hammerstein II and Richard Rodgers

4 locks and 4 keys the pairings all mixed up.
Parts of a statue the players the players must fix up.
Solving the puzzle and using your brain,
That’s what you’ll find in a NASCRAG-type game.

Playing a role with a persona twist ed.
For a great judge who’s best de scribed as "gifted".
Following a plot, never twice the same,
That’s what you’ll find in a NASCRAG-type game.

Chorus
When you missed out, on the Open, and you’re feeling sad.
Just think of the joy of a NASCRAG-type game
and then you won’t feel so bad.

Trinkets and cookies and small powdered donuts. T
things with a fish, sure to make Baker go nuts.
Bribing the judge to get fortune and fame.
That’s how you win in a NASCRAG-type game.

A module, a T-shirt; you can t really buy them.
But a membership fee, well that might just supply them.
Yes, Convention rules make us rather insane.
That s what you’ll find when you play NASCRAG games.

Chorus
Play the part and, Roll the dice and, try to have some fun.
If you do it well and you have a good time,
you might just find that you’ve Won!
